Total Language Plus is a literature-based, innovative curriculum centered on the development of thinking and communication skills. The authors believe an integrated system is more efficient than a fragmented approach, discovery style learning is the most effective, and learning should be enjoyable. The "discover, do, drill" method is employed with activities focused on thinking skills and the development of a biblical world view.

  Unfortunately, although much Christian literature is worth reading, most does not qualify as good literature. For a literature-based study to be effective, the books must exemplify good writing. None of the books we offer is junk; however, some titles may be inappropriate for a particular child. Nonetheless we believe that Christian values can be taught by reading secular books and comparing the characters, situations, and outcomes with scriptural principles.
